Mandolin
Part of the lute family, the mandolin is a stringed instrument which is plucked or strummed.
Banjo
The Banjo is a stringed instrument with either four or five strings and a piece of plastic or animal skin stretched over a circular frame.

Lyre
A stringed instrument of ancient Greece. The Lyre is made of a soundbox which is typically from a turtle shell, with twocurved arms connected by a yoke from which strings are stretched to the body.
Musical Bow
A simple stringed instrument. Often times, an archery bow used for music instead of as a weapon.
Autoharp
A musical string instrument having a series of chord bars attached to dampers, which, when depressed, mute all of the strings other than those that form the desired chord.
Mountain Dulcimer
Part of the Zither family, the Mountain Dulcimer is a fretted string instrument which usually has three or four strings. It is native to the Appalachian area of the United States.
Hammer Dulcimer
The hammered dulcimer is a stringed musical instrument with the strings stretched over a trapezoidal sounding board.
Zither
The zither is a musical string instrument, most commonly found in southern regions of Germany, alpine Europe and East Asian cultures. The term "citre" is also used more broadly, to describe the entire family of stringed instruments in which the strings do not extend beyond the sounding box
